Sixth class had an enjoyable day, visiting  ‘Eagles Flying’ and the Caves of Keash, before finishing off the day with an ice cream. Below are some photos from Eagles Flying. Caves of Keash photos to follow. Thanks to the Parents’ Association for their financial assistance.

Second Class School Tour Lough Key Forest Park

2nd Class had a great fun day on their school tour tour to Lough Key Forest park on Monday, 19th June.The day was action packed;involving a boat trip out on Lough Key with Captain Oliver and his assistant,Danny;a lovely picnic by the lakeside;a walk through the tunnels ,which took the servants long ago to Rockingham House;a climb to the top of Moylurg Tower;a tree canopy walk followed by ,fun and play in Adventure Kingdom play park. A big thank you to everyone who made the day a very happy and fun -filled day. And of course,we were so lucky to have wonderful sunshine!

5th and 6th class recently had an educational trip to King House, Boyle. There they visited the Connaught Ranger’s exhibition as well as getting an interesting tour of the building. On the way back, they stopped at Cashelore fort near Ballintogher. They are pictured below on the front steps on King House and also at the well known  monument near the site of  Battle of the Curlieus.
