Nebula – Wikipedia

nebula (Latin for “cloud” or “fog”; pl. nebulae, nebulæ, or nebulas) is an interstellar cloud of dust, hydrogen, helium and other ionized gases. Originally, nebula was a name for any diffuse astronomical object, including galaxies beyond the Milky Way.

It was an exciting afternoon for the junior and senior infants when they listened to a story set inside a bear’s den acted by the sixth class pupils. We all had great fun!

Daidí na Nollag agus Trócaire

Chaitheamar cúpla seachtain ag déanamh Daidí na Nollag. Dhíolamar ár n-obair agus chuireamar cuig éuro mar praghas ar gach Daidí na Nollag. Bailíodh €175 agus tugadh an méid airgid seo do Trócaire. Táimid fíor-bhuíoch as ucht an tacaíocht.

We are learning about Global Citizenship: Litter and Waste this year in Scoil Náisiúnta Droim Lias.

We gathered bean tins for legs, plastic milk bottles for the feet and head, shoeboxes for the body and used old laces to tie our Santas together. We coated our structure with paper maché before painting it the famous red. We glued cotton wool to make Santa’s beard and to decorate the lapel of his jacket. We used a Cornflakes box to make his cone-shaped hat.

Más maith leat, brúigh ar an cnaipe chun airgead a thabhairt do Trócaire!
